Award Forms

Applications will only be accepted in person on the date, time and room mentioned below. No Exceptions.
Reimbursement for food expenses is at the discretion of the committee.

Applications are invited for the reimbursement of expenses for conferences attended between Feb 1st 2013 and April 30th 2013 on the date and time mentioned below.

Wednesday May 1st 2013 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Thursday May 2nd 2013 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm

Please note that you have to submit the documents in person to a GSA officer in GSA Rm 455 in Campus Center on the date and time mentioned below. We will not be accepting any late applications or any applications by mail. If you cannot make it during these times, send it with a friend.

Students can apply for one of these two GSA Travel Awards depending on the requirements.

Special Achievement Award:
Students who make an oral presentation in a conference are eligible to apply for Special Achievement Award of up to $600 on a reimbursement basis.

General Achievement Award:
Students who present a poster or make an oral presentation in a conference are eligible to apply for the General Achievement Award of up to $200 on a reimbursement basis.

The applications will be reviewed by the Awards Committee by the end of the first week of February and you will be informed of the decision in two weeks. An applicant may be awarded only one award per term and at the most two awards(including Special Achievement Award and General Achievement Award) per academic year (Sep - Aug). Only graduate students at NJIT are eligible to apply for these awards. All decisions made by the GSA Awards Committee will be final.
