Kashif Qazi

Kashif Qazi is a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science. He has been in NJIT long enough, having done his M.S. from NJIT as well, to know the nitty-gritties of NJIT. Previously he held the position of the Vice-President of DeepCS, the Computing Science society of NJIT. In addition to this, he has also held the post of Technology Officer on the e-board of the GSA in the past. With a plethora of on-campus activities, workshops, and seminars hosted by him, he strives to achieve as many stimulating and creative events as possible for the graduate students.

When he is not busy hosting and organizing events, or doing his research, he likes playing on his guitar (everything from Megadeth to Mozart and Janis Joplin to Jagjit Singh), directing movies, acting on stage and writing and sketching weird things that he calls art (though most people just call them rubbish).

With tons of experience under his belt, the ability to get things done and dynamic fortitude, he pledges to bring along fresh thinking and creative ideas, along with great experience to the amazing work already done by the GSA.
