Kai Huang

Kai is a master student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.. He joined NJIT in 2011 Fall. He was also the Representative for Mechanical and Industry Engineering at GSA. During last two semesters at NJIT, he has volunteered in several events for GSA, such as Research Day, Sports week, and Masquerade Ball.

He has organized two successful Feedback Sessions for Engineering Graduate Students. He has also joined several trips with GSA like Niagara Falls NY trip, Fall Foliage trip and Thanksgiving trip. He is familiar with event organizing based on his experience. He knows the importance of this position in GSA and would put his efforts to continue organizing the events and trips for graduate students. He believes that joining the events organized by GSA is great for networking which is very important for job hunting and making friends.

He is looking forward to making NJIT a memorable experience for students. On being in charge of events and publicity for the GSA, he would strive for more outdoor events and trips and ensure maximum participation of graduate students in them.
