Table Tennis Tournament

Round 1:
- Knockout round.
- 31 players will be playing.
- 16 will go through including the person who gets a bye.

Round2:
- Knockout round.
- 8 remain

Round3(Quarter finals):
- Knockout round
- 4 remain

Round4(Semi-finals)

Round 5 (Finals) - 4 players will be playing. 2 for the 1st and 2nd position and 2 for the 3rd and 4th position.

Rules :
1. Scoring
- A match is played best 3. For each game, the first player to reach 11 points wins that game, however a game must be won by at least a two point margin.
- A point is scored after each ball is put into play (not just when the server wins the point as in volleyball).
- The edges of the table are part of the legal table surface, but not the sides.
2. Flow of the Match
- Each player serves two points in a row and then switch server. However, if a score of 10-10 is reached in any game, then each server serves only one point and then the server is switched. After each game, the players switch side of the table.
3. Legal Service
- The ball must rest on an open hand palm. Then it must be tossed up at least 6 inches and struck so the ball first bounces on the server's side and then the opponent's side.
- If the server serves and the ball hits the net and bounces on the opponents side, then it will be considered as a ree serve.
- If the server serves and the ball hits the net and bounces on the servers side itself, then the opponent will be awarded a point.
4. At any point of time during the game, the players free hand must not touch the table's surface. It will be considered a foul and the opponent will be awarded a point.
